The Cité du Train is located 5 minutes away from the city centre of Mulhouse, 30 minutes from Colmar, Belfort and Basel, and 1 hour from Strasbourg.

From July 21, 2021:
Access to the Cité du Train - SNCF heritage will be conditioned, from the age of 18 , on presentation of the SANITARY PASS (and from August 1 for the restaurant).
One of the following three proofs constitutes the HEALTH PASS :
• A vaccination certificate (second dose) of more than 7 days,
• A PCR or antigen test certificate of less than 48 hours,
• A certificate of recovery from COVID-19 (positive test more than 15 days and less than 6 months).
It can be presented at the museum reception in paper or digital form ( ALL ANTICOVID application).
Identity paper must also be presented in order to verify the correspondence with the name mentioned on the HEALTH PASS.
In the absence of presentation of the SANITARY PASS, access to the museum will not be granted to you and no refund will be made.

The Cité du Train is accessible to people with reduced mobility. However, access to certain gateways giving a view into the interior of the equipment is not possible for security reasons. To overcome this, do not hesitate to use our mobile application ( SAM ) which allows you to discover the interior of certain equipment in 360 ° view or via photos.
With the exception of guide dogs for the blind or assistance dogs accompanying people with a motor or mental handicap, pets are not accepted on the premises.
